He has been quoted numerous times in Rolling Stone magazine cover stories and interviews with GQ magazine as seeking to blur the line between pornography and art.

Hughes' voice narrates and we follow Dupree as he leaves the building to go see Hughes in a series of cinematic shots. In between these shots, a flashforward of Hughes, blindfolded and tied to a chair, is suddenly inserted. Eventually, as you can imagine, the two collide and we are treated to 40 minutes of light bondage. The website describes the honor this way: "Vixen Angel has become the most prestigious title in the adult industry. Vixen Angels are not just beautiful models, but charismatic artists who truly understand the art of erotica and embody the ideal achievement for a new generation of performers: glamour. Each Vixen Angel will be awarded a pair of Vixen's custom-made Christian Louboutin red bottom shoes, a Tiffany & Co. custom-made brilliant cut diamond necklace, and a custom-made Vixen lingerie set." This is yet another example of how Vixen strives to set itself apart and elevate pornography to the level of art.

Quality is Queen

At this point, you may be wondering if actual good old fashioned pornography is being lost in Vixen's quest to create art. The answer to this question is no. Their angels are fucked just as well and just as hard as in any other porn studio-produced video. And the descriptions and stories never fill up on their own. They are kept short and sweet (usually a minute or two) until the models get into the action.

The site's media player is also excellent. All videos are offered in resolutions up to 4K, and each video's scrub bar has markers for specific positions, so if you like doggy position, for example, you can jump right in (as I definitely did). Videos are tagged with relevant tags, allowing you to quickly navigate to all Vixen videos containing your favorite tags. All videos also have a long and active comment section where members can discuss their work, the girls, and request future improvements from Vixen. This is another privilege of Vixen's membership, as there are not many pay sites where users can interact with each other in such a lively manner.

We are also proud of the fact that the Vixen website is completely free of advertisements. At least, no advertising in the traditional or annoying sense. There are sponsored deals (40%-70% off popular partner sites) that offer membership to other paid sites, but these only appear at the bottom of the home page, as opposed to other sites that shove ads down your throat like so many deep dicks that you find it You almost have to look for it to find it.

A few minor issues

Tiny things to be sure, but I have only two complaints about this site. One is that the preview that appears in the scrub bar somehow disappears when you move the mouse in a straight line. To make the preview reappear, you have to move the mouse away from the bar and drop it in a new location. I don't know why they designed it this way, but it is mildly annoying.

Secondly, the site does not allow you to hold down the "Ctrl" button and click to open something in a new tab. This sucks for curious porn watchers like myself. Because sometimes I want to explore the rest of the site without losing my place in the video. Of course, right-clicking solves this problem.
